After 9 years of owning private duty agencies, successful home care owners in Central Texas realized the options for software were greatly lacking in user friendliness and marketing/CRM tracking. They set out to design an intuitive system from the perspective of the people actually using the software. Today, AxisCare has become the industry leader in affordable scheduling software with built-in marketing. Our mission is to give agencies the tools they need to improve their care and to expand their client base.
Meet Our Team
Todd Allen – President, Co-Owner
Todd was recruited by the co-founders just as AxisCare was wrapping up the initial development stage and being released to the market. With strong small business consulting, technology and marketing backgrounds, Todd quickly got behind the vision of the founders to provide an easy-to-use software to Home Care owners and administrators.
Todd oversees all operations and strategic partnerships, but his true passion is talking with agencies around the world to understand their needs and deliver real solutions through AxisCare’s platform. He received a B.B.A. in Marketing from Baylor University. Todd enjoys running, fitness, and travelling with his wife Lauren, and two children Cooper and Brynn.
John Atkinson – Vice President of Development
John is an accomplished leader in Information Technology with 15 years of experience, including roles such as Software Architect, Development Manager, System Administrator, and Developer. John joined AxisCare in 2015, and oversees all software development efforts including strategic R&D planning, implementation of new features, enhancements, and integrations, as well as overall platform security and reliability. John comes to us from a leading provider of integrated security solutions in the College and University market where he led a team of developers building industry leading software and innovative cloud based products.
Prior to that role, John was the Director of Admissions Operations and Technology at Baylor University where he reengineered the web based Enrollment portal, streamlined the Admission's department operations, and introduced a data-driven model for enhanced enrollment forecasting. He is enthusiastic for building excellent software that is powerfully functional and delightful to use. John received his B.A in Computer Science and Master of Science in Information Systems from Baylor University. He and his wife Kelly have lived in Waco, Texas for over 15 years and have three wonderful children – Ellie, Blake, and Chase – who keep them very busy and entertained outside of work.
Will Martin – Sales Director
Will joined the AxisCare team as the Sales Director in early 2014. Prior to AxisCare, Will exceled in pharmaceutical and technology industries, and his background provides great insight into the needs of business owners in the home care industry. His primary focus is to build and lead the best sales team in the industry, as well as strategically position AxisCare’s brand atop the US and international markets.
Outside of work, Will is heavily involved in the community through social and church activities. He enjoys hosting and planning events for young adults across Central Texas to promote local business and community involvement. He enjoys spending time with friends and family and pursuing athletic endeavors, and has a penchant for the culinary arts. Born and raised in Nashville, TN, Will earned a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, with a focus in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
Lauren Goff – Director of Client Support
Lauren began with AxisCare as a Client Support Representative just after its launch, and quickly moved to Director of Client Support. Prior to joining our team, Lauren worked for a multi-million dollar home care agency managing their scheduling efforts using AxisCare’s platform.
Her time in the industry provides AxisCare clients with experience and insight needed to help them successfully manage and grow their business. Her home care background and leadership enable her to lead an industry-leading Client Support team, delivering unmatched customer service. In her free time Lauren enjoys shopping, traveling, reading, and spending time with her husband Tevin and her son Tevin Jr.
