Job Description – Software Sales Representative

Reports To President

Summary

The Software Sales Representative is responsible for selling AxisCare Home Care Software to businesses, specifically in the private pay home care market. This position will reach his or her sales targets through effective demonstrations of the software to agencies via phone calls, online webinars, marketing campaigns, as well as industry trade shows (3-5 a year). This position will find new business utilizing call introduction techniques, as well as work leads provided by the company. This individual will also develop ongoing, profitable relationships with current clients and continually maintain a professional image of the company. Integrity, passion, and over-the-phone acumen are essential for this role.

Job Duties

  • Perform remote, in-depth, professional demonstrations of AxisCare to prospects through screen- sharing software

  • Flexibility with scheduling demonstrations after hours with international prospects

  • Effectively identify prospect’s pain points and offer various benefits of Axiscare that target those

    points in order to always be closing

  • Overcome objections of prospective customers

  • Responsible for hitting specific sales goals: Weekly and Monthly

  • Maintain accurate records including sales call reports, lead information lists, and other documentation required

  • Periodically conduct information-only presentations, such as seminars, trade show demonstrations, and other efforts

  • Collaborate with AxisCare Team on potential software enhancements

  • Make front-line assessment of market conditions and report to President

  • Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new products and services, competitor activities, and

    other industry intel

    Requirements

  • 2+ years of sales experience (software or technical sales preferred)

  • University or college degree from a 4 year university is preferred

  • Professional demeanor, selling style, appearance, and over-the-phone relationship building skills

  • Ability to perform multiple on-line presentations daily

  • Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills

  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers

  • Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills

  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm

  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team

  • High level of integrity and work ethic

    Working Conditions

    • Periodic travel may be required (4-5 times a year, for 3-4 days each)

    • Ability to travel to, attend, and conduct presentations

    • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals

      Compensation

      • Base + Commission (new sales plus residuals)
